
Hoosiers Fall In Overtime Heartbreaker

Athens, Ohio— Indiana Field Hockey fell in an overtime heartbreaker to the Ohio Bobcats on Sunday, 2-1. Senior Kelsey Giese scored to send the game to overtime with only 30 seconds left in regulation.

- Sophomore Hailey Couch had a great look on goal in the 23rd minute but a leaping save kept the game scoreless.
- In the 44th minute Ohio scored the first goal of the game on a Kendall Ballard penalty stroke.
- Giese scored off of a penalty corner for the Hoosiers in the 60th minute to send the game to overtime.
- In the 69th minute Ballard scored her second goal to win the game for Ohio.
