Shipp Joins IU Men's Basketball As Non-Scholarship Player

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman guard Michael Shipp, who helped Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati to back-to back state championships, has joined the Indiana University men's program as a non-scholarship player. He is now one of five walk-ons on the squad joining junior guard Cooper Bybee, freshman guard/forward Nathan Childress, junior guard Jacquez Henderson, and senior guard Adrian Chapman.

A 2019 graduate of Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati where he played three seasons of varsity basketball… averaged 6.0 points., 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists… helped the team to back-to-back Ohio State championships and a 29-0 record during his senior year… coached by Carl Kremer… played AAU for the Shining Stars and Coach Mike Price… son of Greg and Julie Shipp… has an older brother, Matt, and a younger brother, Zach… majoring in business… born April 25, 2000.
