Schmid Earns Second Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week Award

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After her first-place finish at The Landfall Tradition, Indiana junior Priscilla Schmid has been named Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week. It marks the second time this fall Schmid has earned the honor.
Schmid took home her first career first-place finish at the event, where she carded a 7-under-par 209, matching her best three-round score. In addition, Schmid tied for the most birdies in the field with 13. Her final round was her finest as she turned in a 68 on Sunday to finish two strokes better than the rest of the field.
Schmid also took home Big Ten Golfer of the Week Honors on Sept. 11 after finishing tied for second at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational.
The Hoosiers concluded their fall slate at The Landfall Tradition, finishing tied for seventh place.
