IU Women’s Basketball Presents 2019-20 Team At Hoosier Hysteria Presented By Smithville

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The unofficial start to the 2019-20 season began on Saturday afternoon as the Indiana Women's Basketball team was introduced at 2019 Hoosier Hysteria.

Indiana head coach Teri Moren addressed the crowd as the players were introduced in front of fans at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers also took part in the 3-point contest and skills competition with alongside the men's program. Juniors Jaelynn Penn and Al Durham won the 3-point contest while redshirt juniors Ali Patberg and Joey Brunk won the skills competition.

IU will host its only exhibition game on Sunday, November 3 against McKendree and open up the regular season on Thursday, November 7 at home against Mount St. Mary's. They return four starters from a season ago when it went 21-13 overall and advanced to the NCAA Tournament second round.
