TEAM
• Indiana is 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the Big Ten.
• IU's 7-3 record is tied for the fourth-best mark in program history through 10 games.
• The Hoosiers four-game conference winning streak is snapped. It marked their longest such streak since 1993 and shared the second-longest in school history.
• Penn State was Indiana's 13th Top-10 opponent since the start of 2015, tied for the fifth-most nationally with Ohio State, behind Alabama (18), Michigan State (15), Auburn (14) and LSU (14).
• Senior left tackle Coy Cronk (injured), fifth-year senior linebacker Reakwon Jones, redshirt junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey, fifth-year senior right guard Simon Stepaniak and fifth-year wide receiver Nick Westbrook served as game captains. The five are the team's season captains.
• Indiana won the coin toss and elected to defer for the third time this season. IU is 2-1 when winning the toss.
OFFENSE
• Indiana's streak of six-consecutive 30-point games came to an end. The six straight tied a program record (last 4 of 2015 and first 2 of 2016) and is a record for the most consecutive in a single season.
• IU's streak of five-straight Big Ten games with 30-or-more points also set a school record.
• The Hoosiers own eight 30-point games overall, which are tied for the second-most in an Indiana single season (1988, 2007, 2013). The 2015 offense produced nine 30-point contests.
• Indiana passed for 371 yards, the team's fifth time over 300 this year and its second-highest total.
• IU's third-quarter, field-goal drive took a season-long 7:20 and a season-high 14 plays. It was the Hoosiers eight drive of 5:00 and 10 plays on the year.
• Indiana added a 5:22 touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, their ninth of 5:00 in 2019.
• IU scored (FG) on its opening offensive possession for the fifth-straight game and the seventh time (4 TDs) in 10 games (37 points).
• Redshirt junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey went 31-of-41 (75.6 percent) for a career-high 371 yards with one passing touchdown and two rushing TDs, his first-career game with two.
• Ramsey exceeded the 300-yard mark for the fifth time in his career, which is tied for fourth in school history, and the second time this year.
• It marked his eight-career game with at least one passing and one rushing score.
• Indiana's all-time completion percentage leader (67.4) moved into third in career completions (573) and sixth in career passing yardage (5,800).
• Junior Ty Fryfogle racked up a career-high 131 yards, his first-career 100-yard game, on five receptions (26.2 average) with a career-long, 38-yard touchdown.
• Redshirt sophomore tight end Peyton Hendershot had a career-high seven receptions for 51 yards. He now has 36 catches, which are tied for fourth on IU's single-season list for tight ends and 444 yards, which rank fourth.
• Fifth-year senior Nick Westbrook hauled in five balls for 34 yards and moved within one yard of eighth on the program's career receiving yardage list (2,041).
• True freshman David Ellis made a career-high seven catches for a career-best 85 yards.
• Fifth-year senior center Hunter Littlejohn made the 25th start of his career.
• Hendershot and Ramsey made the 20th starts of their careers.
DEFENSE
• Indiana has a takeaway in 26 of its last 28 games and has 12 takeaways this season with nine fumble recoveries and three interceptions. Eight of the fumble recoveries have come over the last five weeks, including six over the last three.
• Senior safety Khalil Bryant finished with a game-high 10 stops, his second double-digit tackle game of the season
and his career.
• Redshirt freshman linebacker James Miller posted a career-high seven stops with one forced fumble. Miller has two forced fumbles this season and in his career.
• Sophomore linebacker Micah McFadden tallied 1.5 tackles for loss, the third multi-TFL game his season and career, and posted a career-high three quarter back hurries.
• Redshirt junior defensive tackle Jerome Johnson delivered a career-high six tackles with a half for loss.
• Redshirt sophomore safety Juwan Burgess tallied a career-best six stops.
• Sophomore defensive end James Head Jr.'s second-quarter strip-sack was recovered by junior defensive end Michael Ziemba.
• Head owns 2.5 sacks in his career, all this year, and picked up his first-career forced fumble.
• Ziemba made his second recovery in as many weeks and in his career.
• Senior defensive end Allen Stallings IV picked up his fifth sack of the season and the 10th of his career.
• Redshirt junior husky Marcelino Ball had four tackles, which puts him at 192 in his career.

• Indiana's career field goal percentage leader Logan Justus hit both of his field-goal attempts to improve to 14-for-14 on the season. The McCordsville, Ind., native's 14-straight field goals are second in program history. Austin Starr made 15-consecutive kicks in 2007.
• The fifth-year senior is now 29-of-32 on field goals (90.6 percent) and 69-of-71 on PATs (97.2 percent). Justus moved into eighth on the program's career extra points list and sits ninth in career field goals.
• He has four multi-FG games in 2019 and nine in his career.
