Postgame Notes
- Indiana improved to 4-0 on the season for the first time since 2014-15 by beating Troy, 100-62. This was the first ever meeting against Troy.
- The game marked the first of the Indiana Challenge.
- The Hoosiers never trailed and used a 15-2 run beginning at the 14:06 mark to take a commanding 33-12 lead. Indiana led 58-32 at the break.
- Indiana's 58 first-half points are the most in a single half in head coach Archie Miller's tenure. The last time Indiana scored 58 points or more in a half was Dec. 10, 2016 against Houston Baptist when they scored 61 points in the second half.
- The Hoosiers hit the 100-point mark at the 2:02 point of the second half on a redshirt sophomore forward Race Thompson free throw. Indiana last scored 100 or more points when they scored 104 against Chicago State on Nov. 4, 2018.
- The Hoosiers shot the ball 35-of-65 (53.8 percent) while only allowing Troy to shoot 20-of-63 (31.7 percent). Indiana also out-rebounded Troy 51-38.
- The Hoosiers had four players score in double-figures, Justin Smith (22), Trayce Jackson-Davis (17), Al Durham (17) and Damezi Anderson (14).
- Smith had his fourth career game with at least 20 points, scoring 22 and adding five rebounds and three steals.
- Anderson set a career high in his second straight game, scoring 14 points and grabbing six boards in only eight minutes.
- Jackson-Davis recorded his second double-double of his young career with 17 points and 14 rebounds.
- Senior guard Devonte Green made his first appearance of the season and scored six points and added four assists in 25 minutes.
- Durham scored 17 points and dished out a season-high four assists in 29 minutes.
- Thompson tallied seven points and six rebounds for the Hoosiers while playing 19 minutes.
- In 18 minutes, freshman guard Armaan Franklin scored six points while grabbing three rebounds and adding two assists.
- Redshirt junior forward Joey Brunk scored five points, grabbed two rebounds and dished out three assists in 19 minutes.
- Redshirt freshman forward Jerome Hunter scored four points and tallied three rebounds in 19 minutes of action.
- Senior forward De'Ron Davis played eight minutes for the Hoosiers and put up two points, four rebounds and three assists.
- Both freshman forward Nathan Childress and junior guard Cooper Bybee checked in during the final two minutes for the Hoosiers.
- The Hoosiers will be back in action for the second game of the Indiana Challenge at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 against Princeton.
