Jackson-Davis Named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten Conference has named forward Trayce Jackson-Davis as its Co-Freshman of the week. The Center Grove High School graduate from Greenwood averaged 18.5 points and 11.0 rebounds last week. He also made 9 of 10 field goal attempts (90.0%) and hit on 19 of 24 free throws (79.2%) in leading IU to victories over North Alabama and Troy.
Against UNA, Jackson-Davis had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots and made 14 of 15 free throws, the most for an IU player since Eric Gordon made 14 against Chicago State in 2007. Against Troy, he made all 6 of his field goal attempts and finished with 17 points and a season-high 14 rebounds.
For the season, he is averaging 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds and is shooting 75.0% from the field (18 of 24).
