BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Basketball moved up three spots again in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, coming in at No. 18 in the Week 3 poll on Monday.
It marks the highest ever ranking in school history, besting last week's mark of No. 21. It's also the longest consecutive streak the Hoosiers have appeared in the AP Top 25, posting four weeks in the top 25 from the preseason to current Week 3. Its longest ever streak was two weeks in 2016-17 (preseason and week 1) and 2018-19 (week 9-10). The Hoosiers make their ninth week all-time in the polls.
The other national poll, USA Today/WBCA Coaches poll, will be out tomorrow.
The move up comes after IU defeated Jackson State on Sunday, 91-51. It will now embark on a nearly three-week road trip beginning at Florida on Friday night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network+.
