Postgame Notes
- Indiana improved to 5-0 on the season for the first time since the 2013-14 season after defeating Princeton, 79-54. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series with the Tigers, 3-2. IU is now 10-3 all-time against teams in the Ivy League.
- The game marked the second of the Indiana Challenge.
- Indiana shot 18-of-29 (62.1 percent) from the floor in the second half, while holding Princeton to 7-of-25 (28.0 percent). The Hoosiers outscored Princeton 44-23 in the final 20 minutes.
- Indiana outscored Princeton 22-9 on points off turnovers. IU won the paint battle, 50-22, and the fast break battle, 13-2.
- The Hoosiers went 14-of-17 (82.4 percent) from the free throw line, which is the best team percentage of the season.
- After converting 31-of-55 (56.4 percent) from the floor, Indiana has shot above 50.0 percent in every game this season and has yet to trail in the second half.
- The Hoosiers had four players in double figures against Princeton, Devonte Green (16), Joey Brunk (16), Justin Smith (14) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (11).
- Green led the Hoosier offense with 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor and 2-of-3 from behind the 3-point line. Green added four assists in 26 minutes of run.
- Brunk also added 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting and finished with eight rebounds in 25 minutes. Both his point total and rebound output marked a season high.
- Smith finished the game with 14 points and tallied three rebounds in a team-high 31 minutes.
- Jackson-Davis recorded 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting and grabbed four rebounds in 23 minutes. He has been in double figures in the scoring column in his last four contests.
- Junior guard Al Durham added six points for the Hoosiers in 29 minutes and also recorded four rebounds and a game-high six assists.
- Redshirt sophomore forward Race Thompson grabbed five rebounds for the Hoosiers while adding five points and two assists.
- Freshman guard Armaan Franklin scored four points and dished out two assists in 12 minutes of action.
- Junior guard Cooper Bybee hit a 3-pointer in the final minute of action for the Hoosiers.
- Sophomore guard Rob Phinisee scored two points while also recording three rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes.
- Sophomore forward Damezi Anderson recorded eight minutes of playing time and dished out two assists.
- Freshman forward Nathan Childress entered the game in the final minutes of action.
- The Hoosiers will be back in action for the third game of the Indiana Challenge at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 against Louisiana Tech.
