"We obviously got off to a slow start tonight, got down, and fought our way back, finally got the lead and I thought after we made the one change defensively with Jaelynn Penn guarding Borislava Hristova, their leading scorer, that stifled them. I thought once we saw our shots fall that our intensity went up and the energy level picked up on a night where we didn't have Aleksa Gulbe and lost Grace Berger at halftime. I loved how our other pieces stepped up in a big way. Chanel Wilson, Keyanna Warthen, Jorie Allen, and Hannah Noveroske came off the bench and gave us great minutes. The hustle plays that they made, you had to be here to see it; but the hustle play that Jorie had the first half, the hustle play that Mackenzie Holmes had in the second half and just from everybody. I'm really pleased with our team tonight."
