Barker and Millar Tabbed for Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree Awards

ROSEMONT, Ill.— The Big Ten Conference announced their season awards after the conclusion of the conference championships on Sunday. Jenna Barker and Bryce Millar were tabbed as Big Ten Sportsmanship Honorees.
The students chosen for this Big Ten award have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These students must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
Millar had a standout performance on Sunday afternoon where his 19th place finish aided in the second-place effort of the men's team overall. Barker placed 51st for the Hoosiers on the women's side, as a unit the Indiana women placed eighth with 177 points.
Up next, both squads will compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Madison, Wisc on Nov. 15. The women's 6k race is slated for 1p ET followed by the men's 10k race at 2p ET.
