Game One: Indiana 11, St. John's 0 (5 inn.)

• The Hoosiers put up nine runs in the first inning, taking advantage of timely innings and Red Storm miscues. IU drew six walks in the frame, as well as a hit by pitch.
• After sophomore Taylor Lambert walked, she stole second base before a passed ball from St. John's allowed her to get all the way home and make it 1-0.
• The second run of the day came on a wild pitch, plating junior Katie Lacefield, who reached on a walk.
• Following a single by sophomore Grayson Radcliffe and back-to-back walks to sophomore Maddie Westmoreland and senior Sarah Galovich, sophomore Annika Baez sent a two-hop double to centerfield, bringing in a pair of runs.

• Indiana made it 10-0 in the second as an RBI single by Westmoreland brought home pinch runner Paige Chitwood.
• The final Hoosier run came across in the fourth as a pair of St. John throwing errors proved costly, allowing sophomore Makayla Ferrari to first reach base then come home from second base.

HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"Another great day of softball. It has been a productive weekend outscoring our opponents 26-3. Our pitching was outstanding today, particularly picking our defense up and providing the sudden change after a mistake. Tara and Josie pitched well in the shutout over St. John's. We got another great start from Natalie against FAU and Tara dominated in relief. Our aggressive style on the bases has created opportunities as well."
