Harper Named Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Indiana women's golf senior Erin Harper (Dublin, Ohio) has been named Women's Golfer of the Week by the Big Ten Conference, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
It is the first time Harper has received the weekly honor and the first time an IU player has been recognized since Alix Kong on Nov. 1, 2017.
At the Lady Puerto Rico Classic this past week, Harper finished in a tie for 13th with a score of 219 (71-75-73). It marked the 12th time in her career she has finished inside the Top 15 and the second time during the 2018-19 season.
Over the three rounds in Puerto Rico, Harper recorded nine birdies, which ranked 13th out of 81 golfers. She has played 14 stroke play rounds this season and seven have been at or below par.
