Milto Named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana senior starting pitcher Pauly Milto has been named Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. It is Milto's second career honor and Indiana's first pitcher of the week laurel since Jonathan Stiever earned the recognition on March 19, 2018.
Milto pitched 8.0 innings against Washington at T-Mobile Park in Seattle on Friday, allowing just one hit in the Hoosiers' 1-0 victory. He finished with six strikeouts for his 11th career game in which he went at least six innings while allowing zero earned runs, and his 19th career quality start in 29 starts
The Greenwood, Ind. - native improved to 3-1 on the season with a 1.86 ERA, allowing 17 hits in 29 innings with 29 strikeouts and just three walks.
Indiana travels to Cincinnati on Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a midweek matchup with the Bearcats.
