Statement on Bendu Yeaney

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Bendu Yeaney suffered a ruptured left Achilles with 6:56 to play in the third quarter in the NCAA Tournament second round game against Oregon in Eugene on March 24. Yeaney underwent successful surgery Friday afternoon and will begin rehab.

"We were all devastated when Bendu went down in the NCAA Tournament game and feel for her through this time. Today, she took the first steps in the recovery process with a successful surgery. We are looking forward to getting her healthy and for her return next season."
