BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana junior outfielder Matt Gorski has been named Big Ten Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The weekly honor marks the second for Gorski in his career, last earning it on March 5, 2018.
Gorski hit .400 on the week in five games, as he recorded eight hits, nine RBI, three home runs, a double, three stolen bases and four walks. He hit a grand slam in the win over No. 21 UConn, which was the first grand slam of his career.
