Game One: Maryland 4, Indiana 3
KEY MOMENTS
• The Terrapins jumped to a 3-0 lead in the opening inning, first on an RBI single by Sammie Stefan before Taylor Wilson sent a two-run single to left center.

• Maryland's Stefan again struck in the third, hitting a leadoff homer to center in the third.

After junior Bella Norton drew a walk, pinch runner Paige Chitwood advanced to second on a wild pitch before moving to third on a groundout by sophomore Annika Baez. Another wild pitch brought Chitwood around before freshman Brittany Ford delivered a pinch-hit RBI single to center to score senior Sarah Galovich.

HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"The goal is always to take the series and I think the good thing is you get a little greedy and it's never enough and you want more. I thought we let one slip away so I think for us it's more growth moments to be able to get to the plate and get some offensive production, but on the whole, really pleased with our ballclub to be able to bounce back from that first loss and we had some big moments from a lot of different kids."
