
Parsons Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Indiana University women's golfer Mary Parsons was named Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week the conference office announced on Wednesday. It is the first weekly honor for the sophomore from British Columbia.
Parsons is the second member of the IU team to receive the weekly accolade from the Big Ten, joining Erin Harper who was recognized in February.
Parsons picked up her first collegiate win last weekend at the Lady Boilermaker Classic, posting rounds of 70 and 66 to win by six shots. The second round 66 tied her own school record for 18-hole score and her 36-hole score of 136 set a new school record.
Indiana will compete at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championship at TPC River's Bend near Cincinnati, Ohio, which runs Friday through Sunday.
