HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"Great way to kick off Senior Weekend. I thought we played extremely well in all three phases of the game – we hit the ball well, had solid pitching and great defense. It was nice for Tara to get a good start and then Goodin shut the door. Total clutch-up moments with Lambert, Radcliffe and Lacefield – really up and down the lineup we had offensive production. It was nice to see us attack good pitches and hit the ball hard. Looking for tomorrow to be a battle, we need to continue to score but we're excited about the way we started the weekend.
UP NEXT
Indiana and Rutgers return to action on Saturday with first pitch being moved up to 1 p.m. due to the weather forecast. Prior to the game, the Hoosiers will honor seniors Jessica Conenna, Sarah Galovich and Tara Trainer with a pre-game ceremony. Admission is free and the game will be streamed on BTN Plus.
