Trio of Women's Golf Alumnae in U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – The 2019 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball championship gets underway this weekend in Florida and there will be a number of connections to the Indiana women's golf program competing.
Adrienne Graessle Farrow will teaming up with Cara Stuckey at Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville while 2018 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur champion and IU alum Shannon Johnson will play alongside Megan Buck.
Farrow and Stuckey were teammates at Indiana from 2000-03 seasons and helped the Hoosiers to NCAA Regional appearances in each of the four seasons and a second-place team showing at the 2001 Big Ten Championship.
Johnson graduated from Indiana in 2006 and led the Hoosiers with a scoring average of 74.38 that season, which also included a pair of individual wins and a second place finish.
The U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship takes place April 27-May 1. There will be 18 holes of stroke play on April 27 and 28. The top 32 teams from the stroke play advance to the match play portion, which runs from April 29-May 1.
