Morgan to Compete in 3X3U National Championship

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana senior Juwan Morgan, a two-time All-Big Ten honoree, will be part of the Big Ten team at the 2019 3X3U National Championship this weekend in Minneapolis. He will be joined on the Big Ten team by Ethan Happ (Wisconsin), Jordan Murphy (Minnesota) and Glynn Watson (Nebraska).
The tournament, which will take place at the Mall of America, begins with pool play on Friday and Saturday and the concludes on Sunday with the Top 16 teams competing and the winning team taking home $100,000. Each pool play win that the teams get will earn them $1,000.
Games on Friday and Saturday will be streamed live on Twitter.com/3X3UHoops for free. The round of 16 and quarterfinals will also be streamed on Twitter. The Semifinals, consolation and Championship games will be televised live on ESPN2.
The Big Ten team has been placed in Pool F along with teams from the Ivy League, Horizon League and Big Sky Conference.

This will mark the second year for this event and the second year that an Indiana player has participated. Last year, Robert Johnson and the Big Ten won the title with a 21-13 win over the Big West.
