• In a field that features 10 teams ranked inside the Top 50 in the country, the Hoosiers posted a team score of 294 (+6) to sit in 16^th place out of the 18 totals teams.

• Sophomore Priscilla Schmid easily had the most consistent round of the day by an IU golfer, recording 16 pars, one birdie and one bogey on her way to a 72 and a tie for 25^th after 18 holes.

• Sophomore Mary Parsons recorded a team-best three birdies in her first round, but also logged four bogeys on her way to a 1-over par 73.

• Graduate student Kari Bellville is tied for 56^th after an opening round 74 that featured two birdies and four bogeys.

• Senior Erin Harper is tied for 67^th at 3-over par after an opening round 75.

• Freshman Alexis Miestowski wasn't able to get into a rhythm in round one and posted a 79.
