Three Hoosiers Named MPSF All-Academic Scholar Athletes

WOODLAND, Calif. – Three members of the Indiana University water polo team were named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic Scholar Athletes for the 2019 season, the league office announced last week.
Earning the distinction for Indiana were sophomore Carlie Crumbaugh, junior Gillian Gatecliff and junior Emily Powell. A total of 43 water polo student-athletes in the conference earned the honor for the 2019 season.
To earn a spot on the MPSF All-Academic Scholar Athletes list, the student-athletes had to carry a cumulative 3.00 or better GPA, be at least a sophomore academically, must have completed at least one year at the institution and must have competed in at least fifty percent of the team's competitions.
