
Future Hoosiers Suit Up for Indiana All-Stars

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana incoming men's basketball freshmen Trayce Jackson-Davis (Center Grove) and Armaan Franklin (Indianapolis Cathedral) will represent the state this weekend in the Indiana/Kentucky All-Star Series, June 7 and 8.
On Friday the two teams will battle at Bellarmine University in Louisville following the girls all-star matchup which begins at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the series concludes at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis after the girls contest which begins at 5 p.m.
Jackson-Davis, who was a McDonald's All-American, averaged 22 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.8 blocks per game as a senior. The Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year also played in the Jordan Brand Classic. He helped the Trojans to its first regional title since 1972 and a Class 4A state semifinals appearance. He also was named to the Indiana "Supreme 15" by the IBCA.
Franklin, who led Indianapolis Cathedral to a 19-6 record and a City Tournament Championship, was named City Player of the Year and averaged 23.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while assisting Indianapolis Cathedral to an 19-6 overall record. He was named to the Indiana "Supreme 15" by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
On Wednesday night, the duo played against the Indiana Junior All-Stars in New Castle, helping their squad to a 127-116 win. Jackson-Davis scored a team-high 16 points with five rebounds and Franklin had 15 points, six assists and five rebounds.
