Dawson and Pollard Earn All-America Accolades on Day Two of NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Texas— Khayla Dawson and Maddy Pollard are headed home with first team All-America honors on day two of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Dawson placed sixth with a distance of 17.24m (56' 6.75") while Pollard threw a PR of 16.94m (55' 7").
Maggie Allen ran her final 10K as a Hoosier as she placed 17th with a time of 34:16.09.
Also wrapping their collegiate career on Friday night was Nycia Ford who competed in the hammer throw. After three delays, the senior threw a 60.87m (199' 8") to close her time with the Hoosiers.
Kelsey Harris competed in the 800m semifinal but came up short of punching her ticket to the final as she crossed the finish line in a time of 2:08.48.
The Hoosier men will return to Mike A. Myers stadium on Friday night for the final day of competition on the men's side. Action is slated to begin at 8 p.m. EST as Jyles Etienne will be first up for Indiana in the men's high jump competition.
