Morgan Will Remain With Utah Jazz Organization

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Former Indiana All-Big Ten forward Juwan Morgan has agreed to remain with the Utah organization agreeing to a deal which includes an invitation to the team's 2019 training camp. He played for the Jazz this past summer in the NBA Summer League.
"All hard work brings a profit but this is only the beginning," said Morgan. "I'm ready to do whatever is needed of me to help the team succeed."
Over the summer, Morgan appeared in six of seven league games. He averaged 4.7 points and rebounds per game and his best outing against Minnesota when he had eight points, nine boards and two assists, blocks and steals apiece.
A two-time All-Big Ten performer, Morgan averaged 15.5 points and 8.2 rebounds and led the team with 54 blocked shots and 41 steals this past season. He finished ninth in the league in scoring, fifth in rebounds and seventh in field goal percentage and blocked shots. The Waynesville, Mo. native recently completed a stellar four-year career which saw him finish 24th in career scoring at IU with 1,374 points, 10th in rebounds with 757, forth in career field goal percentage at 56.2% and eighth in blocked shots.
He also received the institution's prestigious Big Ten Medal of Honor, the conference's most exclusive award and was the first of its kind in intercollegiate athletics to recognize academic and athletic excellence.
