How did the team's chemistry develop over the last couple months?
- "This team's chemistry is some of the best I've ever seen. We have a lot of fun paired with the highest level of work ethic and competition. It's created the best playing environment I've ever been a part of."
What have you learned this season?
- "I have learned so much this season about all facets of my life: athletically, spiritually and lifestyle. In terms of softball, I developed a close friendship with Amanda Chidester, who has become the ultimate mentor for me. She has a lot of experience at every level of our game, and it was extremely gratifying to be able to compare our games and grow from each other. I mostly enjoyed being able to hit every day with the best hitter in the world and have her help me refine my swing."
How exciting has been to go on this run and advance to the NPF championship series?
- "It's been thrilling to be a part of this summer, this team and this regular season championship. I am looking forward to the next couple of days, and to take on the Pride in the championship series. They are stacked top to bottom and have a great pitching staff, just like we are so it's going to be a dog fight full of the best softball, and I'm excited to see who comes out on top."
What about this season/team are you excited to bring back to Bloomington?
- "I'm mostly excited to bring my newly-revived passion for softball back to Bloomington. We have a great staff and a great team and I'm eager to bring all of the knowledge I've gained- both on and off the field- back to Team 47."
