
Davidson, Lockwood and Wos Named to Big Ten Preseason Honors List

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Soccer saw senior Chandra Davidson, sophomore Oliwia Wos and freshman Avery Lockwood land on the Big Ten Preseason Honors list, the conference announced on Monday.
It marks the second straight season Davidson has made the list, which is voted upon by the conference coaches. The forward is the active team leader in both goals (9) and points (26), earning 51 starts in her career including every game of the last two seasons. Davidson, a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree was also named the team's captain.
Wos transferred to Indiana after spending her freshman season at Wake Forest. The defender played in 16 games as the Demon Deacons advanced to the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament. A native of Olesno, Poland, Wos played for Poland's U-17 and U-19 teams, as well as earning an appearance with the full national team.
Lockwood joins the Hoosiers after an impressive club career with Midwest United and was ranked as a four-star prospect by TopDrawerSoccer. A native of Belmont, Mich., Lockwood signed with the Hoosiers in January.
The 2019 Indiana Women's Soccer season gets underway on Thursday as the Hoosiers face No. 2 North Carolina in Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m.
