Indiana Ranked No. 2 in Preseason United Soccer Coaches Poll

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After earning a second-consecutive trip to the NCAA College Cup in 2018, the Indiana University men's soccer team was ranked No. 2 in the 2019 preseason United Soccer Coaches poll on Tuesday.
Indiana slotted just behind Maryland in the rankings, earning a total of six first-place votes. The Hoosiers ended 2018 ranked No. 3 in the country.
IU will face six opponents this season who were ranked in the poll – No. 1 Maryland, No. 7 Michigan State, No. 8 Kentucky, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 18 Denver and No. 24 Michigan.
Last season, the Hoosiers captured both the regular season and tournament Big Ten titles en route to a second-straight NCAA College Cup appearance. The returnees from 2018 will be joined this year by the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation according to Top Drawer Soccer.
IU reached the NCAA Tournament for the 32nd-straight season in 2018 and for a NCAA-record 43rd time in program history. The Hoosiers 20th College Cup appearance last year is also a NCAA record.
Single game and season tickets for the 2019 season are now on sale. Prices are $7 for adults, $5 for youth (ages 3-18) and $4 for groups of 25 or more. Family Packages are $40 and fans will receive four tickets and food vouchers to be exchanged at the Armstrong Stadium concession stand. Family Packages must be purchased in advance of game day.
Flex Package tickets will also be available again this season. Each flex package will include eight vouchers to be exchanged on game day at any home IU men's soccer match. Adult flex packages will be $48 and youth (ages 3-18) flex packages will be $32
