
Indiana’s Caulfield Earns Weekly Big Ten Honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer goalkeeper Sean Caulfield was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, the conference office announced.
This past weekend at the Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament in South Bend, Ind., the redshirt senior had a pair of standout performances for the Hoosiers.
In a 2-1, overtime victory over Denver on Friday, Caulfield made a pair of saves for IU. Then on Sunday against WAC preseason favorite Seattle, the East Lake, Fla. native recorded the first shutout of his career in a 0-0 draw, making three saves.
The No. 4-ranked Hoosiers will host the No. 10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Fireworks Night on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
