
Women’s Tennis Announce 2019-20 Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– IU women's tennis coach Ramiro Azcui has announced the Hoosiers schedule for the 2019-20 season.
The schedule is highlighted with non-conference matches against Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee and the always challenging Big Ten slate.
"We're excited for another new season and for the opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in college tennis," Azcui said. "Development throughout the season will be crucial for our young team in order to play our best tennis, but we are encouraged about the depth of talent on this year's roster."
Indiana will kick off the falls season by hosting the Hoosier Classic, Sept. 27-29. Other fall tournament include: The ITA All-American and ITA Regional Championships and Alabama Classic.
Indiana will start the spring season hosting the IU Winter Invitational, Jan 18-20.
The Hoosiers will host Kentucky (Jan. 31) and Tennesee (Feb. 9) as well as travel to Alabama (Jan. 25).
Big Ten competition will start on the road at Northwestern on Jan. 28 and the Big Ten home opener will be March 1 against Penn State.
Indiana will host Purdue in a dual match on April 11.
The Big Ten Tournament this year will be April 23-26 in West Lafayette, Ind., at Purdue University.
