"Obviously a pretty wild night. I want to start by thanking the community and the student section. I thought it was as cool an atmosphere as we've had since we've been here. I thank the people at Adidas for such an awesome promotion and evening. I thought the atmosphere was great. Hopefully they enjoyed some good volleyball. Hats off to Oklahoma; I thought they just stayed tougher, longer. Especially in the serve and pass game, I thought they did a really good job of putting a lot of pressure on our serve/receive and we broke down a bit offensively. Kind of our worst offensive performance of the year. I don't know if that's personnel, or lineups, or Oklahoma being pretty darn good. Obviously one we wish we could've had back.
Thought it was really good volleyball for three games, and in the fourth game I thought it was pretty disappointing. Our effort was pretty disappointing. Then we tried to get the starters back in the fifth game to make a run at it, and there were one or two crucial plays in it where, you know, an overturned call, a ball-handling call, and we just kind of ran out of runway. On the whole I thought it was a great college volleyball match. Congrats to Oklahoma. I think they'll have a great year; they have a great staff. Those kids played hard. We get back in the gym tomorrow to get ready for a very cagey, and bright Yale team."
