"Well, you can imagine how disappointed we all are in the outcome for so many reasons. Whether we start with our turnovers, we turned the ball over 21 times, which obviously gave them more possessions offensively. Their 22 points off of our turnovers and nine points in the fourth quarter off of our turnovers; we were undisciplined. They got to 50-50 balls for most of the night. Balls would go through our hands; they just pursued and were quicker to the ball than we were and that was disappointing, especially on our home floor. Careless turnovers, when I think about it, and careless decisions down the stretch. Jaelynn Penn doesn't need to foul, worst case we are still up one and we get the ball. (Mac)Kenzie (Holmes) goes out and guards (Abi) Scheid, does a nice job until she turns it over goes down and guards her outside the arc then decides to walk back into the paint and leave their best 3-point shooter open outside the arc. We can say she is a freshman, but she should have known better than that. She shoots 46 percent from the 3-point line and we have prepared and talked about that for the last two days. So, this is on me, on our staff, on our players. The game should have never gone into overtime, just like the Iowa game. We've got to look at ourselves and accept this and hopefully learn from it. I thought we learned some lessons from the Iowa game, but we still have a lot of work to do in learning hard, hard, hard lessons. I am just really disappointed."
