Mullen Named Scholar-Athlete of the Month for December

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore cornerback Tiawan Mullen is the IU Scholar-Athlete of the Month for December.
"His academic performance has been one of this department's great success stories," said Allen Kohn, IU's assistant director of academic services for football. "He is a leader for his position group in the classroom, film room, and on the field."
On the season, Mullen is second on the team with 32 tackles and three interceptions. He also has 3.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry.
The No. 10/11 Hoosiers will travel north to face No. 18/19 Wisconsin on Saturday, Dec. 5. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. EDT kick and will be televised on ABC.
