Eight Volleyball Hoosiers Claim Academic All-Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A total of eight Indiana volleyball student-athletes earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference office announced on Thursday morning.

In three years under IU head coach Steve Aird, the Hoosiers have earned a total of 22 Academic All-Big Ten honors. The eight this year are the most in a year since they had eight in 2017.

The eight Hoosiers helped contribute to a school record 114 honorees across all IU fall sports.

Student-athletes must be in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a grade point average of 3.0 or better to be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection.
