• The Hoosiers shot 50 percent (20-for-56) from the field, the third game this season hitting the .500 or better mark. In addition, they shot a season-best 39.4 percent from behind the arc.
• Sophomore Armaan Franklin posted a career-best 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the 3-point line. His five made triples also marked a career-high. He added five assists and four rebounds in 23 minutes on the court.
• Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis tallied 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the free throw line. TJD has made at least seven free throws in four-straight games and five of the team's six games this season. The reigning Big Ten Player of the Week has hit double digits in the scoring column in all six games this season.
• Jackson-Davis added a team-best three blocks, his highest total since swatting four Cornhusker shots on March 11, 2020.
• Freshman Trey Galloway scored in double figures (11 points) for the second time in as many home games this season. He is averaging 12.0 points per home game this season. Galloway added a pair of rebounds and a steal while going 5-of-6 from the floor.
• Freshman Khristian Lander hit double digits for the first time in his young Hoosier career with 10 points on 2-of-4 shooting from the 3-point line and 4-of-4 shooting from the charity stripe.
• Redshirt junior Race Thompson registered eight points (2-of-2 shooting), five rebounds and a pair of blocks.
• Junior Rob Phinisee scored eight points with two made 3-points, five rebounds and two steals in 16 minutes.
• Freshman Anthony Leal tallied his first four career points after knocking down a wing 3-pointer and a free throw. The Bloomington native added three rebounds, three assists and a steal to his line, all matching or setting new career highs.
• Sophomore Jerome Hunter scored five points and pulled down a career-high seven rebounds.
• Freshman Jordan Geronimo charted four points (2-of-2 shooting) and four rebounds off the Hoosier bench.
• Senior Aljami Durham tallied three points, two rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes.
• Senior Cooper Bybee, sophomore Michael Shipp and sophomore Nathan Childress all checked in late in the game.
• The Indiana defense turned back a season-best seven North Alabama shots and held the Lions to 33.3% (21-of-63) shooting from the floor, 17.4% (4-of-23) shooting from the 3-point line and 42.9% (6-of-14) shooting from the line.
• The Hoosiers are now rated 10th in the country in defensive efficiency by Ken Pom.
• Indiana made 18 free throws to North Alabama's six makes. IU also held a sizeable 39-12 advantage in points behind the 3-point line.
• The Hoosier bench contributed 34 points, the highest total in a game this season.
• Indiana also held statistical advantages over UNA in assists, points off turnovers, total rebounds, defensive rebounds and steals.
• IU used two extended runs to take control of the game. The first came midway through the first stanza. While ahead 11-7, Indiana scored 12 of the game's next 14 points spanning 5:47 of game time to increase the lead to 23-9. In the second half, IU turned a 22-point lead into a 39-point lead on a 17-0 run over a four-minute span. Indiana canned three 3-pointers during the run.
