• Indiana was led by a strong defensive effort, holding the Cardinal to 35.8% (19-of-53) from the field including 25% (5-of-20) from 3-point range.
• Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis posted a career-best 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the floor and 11-of-14 from the free throw line. He bested his previous high of 27 at Minnesota on Feb. 19, 2020. He added six rebounds in his fourth start of the season.
• The Karl Malone Award Preseason Watch List sophomore has now registered eight career games of at least 20 points. He is the first Hoosier to score 30-plus points in a single game since Devonte Green tallied 30 points against Florida State on Dec. 3, 2019.
• In addition, Jackson-Davis drew 11 fouls.
• Sophomore Armaan Franklin secured a season-best 13 points to go along with team highs in rebounds (8) - tying his career high - and assists (5). The game marked his third-career double-digit scoring outing: vs. Nebraska on March 11, 2020 (13 points) and Dec. 21, 2019 (17 points).
• Redshirt junior Race Thompson totaled 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and tied for the team lead with eight rebounds in 31 minutes of playing time. The game marked his second double-figure effort of the tournament and fourth of his career.
• Junior Rob Phinisee scored six points on a pair of triples early in the second half and added two assists.
• Freshman Trey Galloway recorded five points to go along with a rebound and an assist in his first career collegiate start.
• Freshman Khristian Lander registered five points and a season-best four assists in 18 minutes off the bench for the Hoosiers.
• Sophomore Jerome Hunter scored four points and grabbed four rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench.
• Freshman Anthony Leal hauled down three rebounds and dished out two assists in 19 minutes.
• Senior Aljami Durham was not in the starting lineup for the first time in the last 50 IU games. He missed the game due to an ankle injury.
• After struggling from the floor on Tuesday afternoon, Indiana shot 25-of-49 (51.0%) from the field and 20-of-25 (80.0%) from the free throw line in the win over Stanford.
• The Hoosiers outscored the Cardinal in the paint by a tally of 36-26, dished out 19 total assists to Stanford's six and out-blocked the Cardinal, 8-3.
• Stanford scored the first four points of the ballgame before Indiana rattled off the next 11 points capped by a three-point play from Jackson-Davis at the 16:44 mark in the opening half.
