• Sophomore Armaan Franklin continued his torrent offensive run with a career-best 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor. He knocked down 5-of-6 3-point attempts, matching his career-best for made triples in a game.
• He has reached double figures in the scoring column in five of the last six games, including four-straight contests. Over the last four games, Franklin has compiled 78 points (19.5 points per game) and has hit 17-of-26 (65.4%) from the 3-point line.
• Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 11 points and converted all five of his free throw attempts. He also pulled down a team-best eight rebounds and turned back three Illinois shot attempts.
• Senior Aljami Durham finished with nine points, three rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes of playing time.
• Redshirt junior Race Thompson tallied four points and five rebounds in 29 minutes.
• Freshman Trey Galloway registered four points, four rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes of run in his second career start.
• Junior Rob Phinisee also added four points and one steal in 17 minutes off the bench.
• Sophomore Jerome Hunter finished with two points and four rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench.
• Freshman Khristian Lander drilled a corner 3-point in his lone shot attempts in four minutes off the bench.
• Freshman Khristian Lander and freshman Anthony Leal each saw first-half action in the game.
• The Indiana defense held Illinois to just 29 points in the first half, their lowest offense output in any half this season.
• IU turned the ball over only seven times, the fewest in any game this season. The Hoosiers also had fewer than 10 turnovers in the first two games of the season against Tennessee Tech (8 TOs) and Providence (9 TOs).
• Indiana made 7-of-18 attempts from the 3-point line, tied for the second-most triples hit in a game this season.
