• Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis paced the Hoosiers in scoring with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting and six rebounds. The game marked his sixth 20-point game of the season and 12th of his career.
• Senior Aljami Durham tallied 18 points on a career-best four made 3-pointers. He added four assists and a pair of rebounds.
• Sophomore Armaan Franklin continued his double-figure scoring streak with 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor. Franklin has scored 10-plus points in five-straight games, the longest stretch of his career.
• During the five-game run, the Cathedral graduate has averaged 18.8 points on 54.8% shooting from the floor.
• Junior Rob Phinisee canned the game-winning shot with under 13 second to play on his way to 11 points. He added a career-best three blocks, two rebounds and one assist off the bench.
• Freshman Trey Galloway registered 10 points, five assists and four rebounds in 36 minutes in a starting role. His assist total matched his career-high output from the Butler victory in the Crossroads Classic.
• For the first time this season, and the 12th time under head coach Archie Miller, the Hoosiers had five players reach double figures in the scoring column.
• Redshirt junior Race Thompson compiled seven points, six rebounds, and matched his career best with four blocks.
• Sophomore Jerome Hunter scored four points off the bench.
• Freshman Khristian Lander and freshman Jordan Geronimo each saw limited action in the win.
• The victory gave Archie Miller his 200th career victory as a head coach. He holds an overall record of 200-110, including a mark of 61-47 at Indiana.
• The Hoosiers shot 32-of-56 (57.1%) from the floor for the game, the highest shooting clip of the season. IU knocked down 16-of-25 (64.0%) shots in the second half and started the second frame 11-of-14.
• Indiana blocked a season-high eight Penn State shots.
• IU outscored PSU by a tally of 17-11 at the charity stripe after making 17-of-21 (80.9%) attempts at the free throw line.
• The offense aggressively attacked the lane all game, outscoring Penn State 50-28 in the painted area.
• Indiana held the lead for 38:40 of the 45 minutes.
• After Penn State tied up the game in back-to-back-to-back possessions, the final one at 53-53 at the 12:43 mark in the second half, Indiana rattled of a 13-1 scoring run sparked by a tough post move finish from Jerome Hunter. The run ended on a fastbreak triple from Aljami Durham.
