
IUMS Announces Team Captains for 2020-21

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana men's soccer head coach Todd Yeagley announced redshirt senior Spencer Glass, redshirt senior A.J. Palazzolo, and senior Thomas Warr as team captains ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Spencer Glass
The three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection emerged as a vocal leader for a young team during the 2019 run to the Big Ten regular season and tournament championships out of the defensive back line. He earned All-Big Ten second team honors after scored three goals, including the game-winning tally against Michigan. Glass also scored the eighth-fastest goal to open a game in program history after scoring 53 seconds into the match against Evansville. During his career, the Fort Wayne native has made 27 starts in 64 appearances and has scored nine goals to go along with 16 assists.
A.J. Palazzolo
The St. Louis native has appeared in 56 career matches for Indiana with 28 career starts. He has tallied 20 points in his three-year run with the Cream and Crimson, including seven goals and six assists. During the 2019 campaign, Palazzolo contributed three goals and four assists while starting all 24 matches in an attacking position.
Thomas Warr
A sparkplug off the bench for the Hoosiers, Warr has appeared in 49 career games with eight starts. The Zionsville native has scored four goals and added five assists in his three years on the collegiate pitch.
Per an NCAA release in late September, the men's soccer season can begin with competitions as early as Feb. 3, 2021 with the College Cup being played from May 13-17.
