The Hoosiers fell to 15-7 on the season and 5-6 in the Big Ten with a 68-59 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday. The all-time series is still in favor of IU, 108-86.
Senior guard Devonte Green hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the first half to send the Hoosiers into the locker room trailing, 31-22.
IU ended the game on a 12-3 run over the final 3:21, including Green hitting the Hoosiers' seventh 3-pointer of the game with 13 seconds remaining.
Indiana's offense made 14-of-18 free throws (77.8 percent), while the defense only put Ohio State on the line for eight attempts.
The Hoosiers had two players in double figures, Green (13) and sophomore guard Rob Phinisee (11).
Green led the Hoosiers with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting and added two rebounds in 18 minutes.
Phinisee scored 11 points for IU, while dishing out three assists in 27 minutes.
Redshirt freshman Jerome Hunter played a career-high 28 minutes and scored nine points for the Hoosiers, while grabbing four rebounds.
Junior guard Aljami Durham tallied eight points for the Hoosiers, while dishing out three assists.
Freshman forward Trayce Jackson-Davis scored seven points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, while blocking a team-high three shots.
Junior forward Justin Smith put up five points for the Hoosiers, while recording two steals.
Redshirt junior Joey Brunk scored four points and grabbed two rebounds for Indiana.
Senior forward De'Ron Davis scored two points for IU in nine minutes.
Freshman guard Armaan Franklin recorded eight minutes of playing time.
The Hoosiers will be back in action when its in-state rival, the Purdue Boilermakers, come to Simon Skjodt Asembly Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.
