Cheer to Host 2020-21 Selection Clinic

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University Cheerleading Program will be hosting their 2020-2021 Spring Selection Process Clinic on Saturday, Feb.22, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM
This clinic is designed for all individuals interested in trying out for the 2020-21 Cream (Coed) and Crimson (All Girl) teams that make up the Indiana University Cheerleading program.
We welcome the following students to attend:
* Any current Indiana University-Bloomington student
* Any transfer students to IU-Bloomington
* Any high school student (recommended more for Juniors/Seniors)
The clinic will be located in Wilkinson Hall on the IU campus.
Cost is $50 per person and pre-registration is required prior to the event. Please register online.
Please be sure to print the 2020 general release waiver form and bring it with you to registration.
What to wear at the clinic?
If you are attending the clinic as a participant, please wear the following colors depending on what your desired team would be for the April selection weekend:
• If you are wanting to be considered for the Cream Co Ed Team, please wear a WHITE shirt.
• If you are wanting to be considered for the Crimson All Girl Team, please wear a RED shirt.
• If you are wanting to be considered for both Cream and Crimson, please wear a GREY shirt.
• If you are an underclassmen and are not eligible for the 2020 Selection Process, please wear a BLACK shirt.
Material that is required for the Selection Process will be taught and reviewed during this clinic. If you are unable to attend the clinic, you will be able to order a material DVD after the clinic is completed, using this order form.
Parents and/or coaches of interested candidates are encouraged to attend the Selection Clinic as well. There will be a question/answer session for all parents/coaches that attend. No cost for attendance for parents/coaches.

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM - Welcome, Tryout Information, Rules, and Medical information
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Stunt Session 1 for participants and Q&A Session for Parents and Coaches
12:30 PM - 12:45 PM - Break
12:45 PM - 1:15 PM - Q&A Session for Candidates
1:15 PM - 2:00 PM - Tumbling
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM - Material for Tryouts
2:30 PM - 3:15 PM - Stunt Session 2
3:15 PM - 3:30 PM - Material Review/Wrap Up/Clean Up

*Attendance is mandatory at the April Selections to be considered for one of the teams in the IU Cheerleading Program.
*Selection Weekend is closed to participants only.
