
Ali Patberg Named CoSIDA Academic All-District For Second-Straight Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg has been selected to the 2020 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District District 5 team. She repeats as a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection as she also earned honors in the 2019 season.
The 2019-20 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
The Columbus, Ind. native holds a 3.71 GPA in finance at Indiana's prestigious Kelley School of Business. She will finish her undergraduate work in May 2020 and pursue a graduate degree as she completes her final year of eligibility in 2020-21.
The team's leading scorer at 14.0 points and 5.5 assists per game, Patberg has been honored nationally as one of 10 finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Award, Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, Citizens Naismith Midseason team and Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list. She has scored in double figures 20 times this season and has dished out multiple assists in 25 games. Patberg also adds 4.7 rebounds per game and has a +2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio while shooting 48.4 percent from the floor this season.
