Powell is happy to be apart of a team that is working to improve each day:
"What makes me so excited about being named as a captain for the 2020 season is that our team has so much room to grow. This means that as captains, we have the ability to shape the program in a positive way and leave a legacy that the girls can build on for years to come. Of course, we are hungry to win games but our emphasis is on developing a strong team culture where we work for each other day in and day out."
