HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"We had fun playing with our team today. I felt that our dugout intent was great, to play two extras inning ballgames and have a shot at winning them both. I felt that Emily Goodin was completely resilient pitching 16 innings on the day. In game one it was fun to break things open in extra innings with two home runs from Grayson Radcliffe and Annika Baez. In game two, you have to tip you cap to NC State, they clutched up in the bottom of the eighth. We're playing much better defensively, we're getting outstanding pitching, so now we just need to heat up our sticks."
