Hoosiers Beat Boilermakers for Fourth Straight Match

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team beat Purdue 4-1 on Saturday in West Lafayette.
The Hoosiers (6-3) No. 42 doubles team of Bennett Crane and Zac Brodney at No. 1 doubles won 6-2 and the Hoosiers No. 3 doubles team won 6-2 to win the doubles point for IU.
Luka Vukovic put the Hoosiers up 2-0 and Purdue won at No. 3 singles to get within one at 2-1.
Zac Brodney came back from a narrow loss in his second set to win 6-4 in the third set to put the Hoosiers up 3-1. At No. 6 singles Vikash Singh clinched the match for the Hoosiers with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 win.
The Hoosiers return home for a pair of home matches next week. Indiana will host Drake on Friday Feb. 28 and host Dartmouth on Saturday Feb. 29.
