- The Hoosiers fell to 15-8 on the season and 5-7 in the Big Ten with a 74-62 loss to the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday.
- The Hoosiers opened the game on a 5-0 run with a trio of free throws from freshman forward Trayce Jackson-Davis and an offensive rebound and put back by redshirt junior forward Joey Brunk to give the Hoosiers a 5-0 lead at the 17:43 mark of the first half.
- IU assisted on 15 of their 22 made baskets with junior guard Aljami Durham and Jackson-Davis leading the way with four each.
- The Hoosiers had three players in double figures, Jackson-Davis (16), junior forward Justin Smith (11) and redshirt freshman forward Jerome Hunter (10).
- Jackson-Davis recorded team highs of 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
- Junior forward Justin Smith tallied 11 points for the Hoosiers, while grabbing 5 rebounds in 25 minutes.
- Hunter scored 10 points and grabbed three rebounds for Indiana.
- Brunk scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds for IU.
- Durham put up five points for the Hoosiers, while recording four assists.
- Sophomore guard Rob Phinisee scored five points for IU, while dishing out two assists in 28 minutes.
- Senior guard Devonte Green tallied three points for Indiana and grabbed four rebounds, while dishing out an assist.
- Freshman guard Armaan Franklin hit a 3-pointer and dished out an assist in 10 minutes.
- Redshirt sophomore guard Race Thompson recorded a rebound and an assist in eight minutes.
- Senior forward De'Ron Davis recorded one rebound for the Hoosiers.
- The Hoosiers will be back in action at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 when the Iowa Hawkeyes come to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
