Hoosiers Participate in Read Across America

On Friday, March 6th, student-athletes visited eleven MCCSC and RBB elementary schools for IU Athletics' annual Read Across America to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday. Throughout the day, 71 student-athletes from 12 different teams, including members of the field hockey, swimming & diving, and rowing teams, visited with over 2400 kids to read stories, answer questions, and encourage reading.
This was an excellent opportunity for the student-athletes to interact with their community, serve as role models, and for the kids to get to know the IU student-athletes.
