KEY MOMENTS

A Patberg 3-pointer with 7:27 to play gave IU an early 9-7 lead. Holding on to that lead at the media break, 13-12, Indiana wouldn't find the back of the net for the final 4:15 of the quarter as the Terps took a 16-13 lead.
Sophomore guard Grace Berger finally broke the scoring drought with a pull-up jumper with 8:15 on the clock in the second quarter. One of Patberg's three triples went down just two minutes later to tie the game at 21-all. But quick buckets including an and-1 opportunity led to a 7-0 run for the Terps. Senior forward Brenna Wise trimmed the deficit at the break with three points, one at the line and a runner off the glass, to make it 28-24 at halftime.
But the third proved to not be the Hoosiers quarter, going scoreless for over half the frame as it was outscored 22-9.
They showed life in the fourth quarter, making a run with a Wise 3-pointer with 6:47 remaining to pull her team within 11. It was the closest the Hoosiers would get, however, as another four-plus minute scoring drought

NOTABLE

Indiana makes it first Big Ten Tournament semifinal appearance since 2006 and just the fifth appearance in school history.
Patberg surpassed 1,000 career points on Saturday night by leading the Hoosier offense with 16 points, bringing her total to 1,007. She is just 11 points shy of 1,000 in her career with Indiana.
Freshman forward Mackenzie Holmes also saw double-figures with 10 points.
Berger led the way in rebounds and assists as she dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds.
Wise also had a team-high six rebounds.
Indiana scored a season-low 51 points.
