Where are you right now?
I'm back home with my family at the moment.
How are you interacting with your teammates?
Some of us are spread out over the map right now, but we still keep in touch as much as we can with zoom and messaging!
What advice would you give to your fellow Hoosiers right now?
I would say to keep in touch with teammates and voice any hardships you have to them. Also, I would say to try and stay inside as much as possible to help decrease the spread of the virus.
What are you most looking forward to when you get back on the court?
I am very eager to get back, work hard, and compete. With all of this going on, I think everyone has this hunger inside of them to go back out there and compete much harder than before.
How has the adjustment gone to online classes?
For me, it has honestly been going pretty well. My professors are very flexible with the course work and understand what we are all going through so it makes things a lot easier.
What gives you encouragement and motivation during this time?
I think what gives me motivation and encouragement is the eagerness to get back and play with our season being cut short. Right now, the parks and tennis clubs in the Chicagoland area are completely closed, so there is no access to courts. With that, there is this insane amount of motivation inside of me that is looking forward to open tennis courts and being able to hit again.
What is something you and your family are doing to pass the time?
My family and I sometimes go on walks and just go out in the driveway and work out. We also play some board games here and there.
What shows are you watching?
Currently I'm watching Ozark!
What is your major and what are your future career plans?
I'm a political science major and currently I'm split between going to law school, or working for the FBI or Homeland Security.
